Background
The history of Electric Service started before 1948 as a small electrical appliance warehouse in downtown Clinton, Iowa. Hiram Heysinger, who incorporated electrical wiring and construction services into the company, purchased it in that year. In 1964, under the management of Hiram Heysinger, Jr., Electric Service of Clinton was operating in full swing as a full service electrical contractor from their location on 1st Street. Today, Electric Service is still serving Clinton, eastern Iowa, and western Illinois with pride. Under the management of third generation owner Steven M. Heysinger, it has grown beyond a full service electrical contractor, offering additional services such as: telecommunications, fiber optics, digital networking, controls/system integration, and much more.
