                  National Guard Award
   
     The National Committee for Employer
     Support of the Guard and Reserve
     recognized Electric Service of Clinton
     with a Patriotic Employer award.  This
     award was presented to Electric 
     Service for 'supporting the National
     Guard with unquestionable
     cooperation with its soldiers who
     are called to duty'.       

    
                                                               
                Restoring Royalty

   The athletic facilities at Clinton
   High School have been enhanced
   and rebuilt so the River Kings and
   Queens can compete on a level
   playing field with athletes from

        Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa  
                                         
    This foundation strives to enrich the
    lives of children with life-threatening        medical conditions through wish-           
    granting.  To date, the Clinton County
    chapter has granted almost 100 wishes.







            
                         Finally Fridays   

   Finally Fridays are fun, free musical
   events held at Clinton's beautiful 
   riverfront.
                                              
 

 
  
                                    Watts Up?

   The City of Clinton recently added lights to the
    riverfront bike path, adding safety and beauty to
    the well-travelled area.
